Chiaki is a contemporary artist, fashion designer, and costume designer with a Ph.D. in art. Her interdisciplinary practice explores the relationship between clothing, identity, and the environment through textile-based installations, photography, and wearable works. Drawing on her background in fashion and academic research, she often incorporates discarded materials to question systems of value and visibility. She has participated in international residencies across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and has received several awards for her innovative work.
